How Our Video & Audio Tools Work

ClikDeo provides free online video and audio editing tools. Here's how they work:

100% Local Processing: All video and audio editing (trimming, merging, splitting, extracting audio, extracting frames, creating shorts, etc.) happens entirely within your web browser on your own device.
No Server Upload: Your files are never uploaded to our servers. When you select a file, it is loaded directly into your browser's memory and never leaves your computer.
No File Storage: We do not store, save, retain, or have any access to your video or audio files at any time. We have no database of user files.
No Account Required: You do not need to create an account, sign up, or provide any personal information to use our tools.
Limited Data Collection: We do not collect any personal data through the editing tools themselves (your video and audio files are never seen by us). Separately, our website uses cookies and similar technologies for site analytics (Google Analytics) and advertising (Google AdSense) — see the "Cookies and Advertising" section below and our Privacy Policy for details.
Automatic Cleanup: When you close your browser tab or refresh the page, any temporary data in your browser's memory is automatically cleared.

Important: Because all video and audio processing happens locally on your device, we cannot access, view, monitor, or share your files. Your content remains private on your own computer. The cookie-based data described below relates only to general website usage (such as pages visited) and advertising, not to the files you process with our tools.

Free Service and Changes to the Service

ClikDeo's tools are currently provided free of charge, with no account, no watermark and no sign-up required. We aim to keep our core tools free, and the Service is supported in part by advertising. However, We may add, change, limit, suspend or discontinue any tool or feature at any time, and We may introduce optional paid features in the future. If We do, We will announce it on this Website.

ClikDeo is not a social media platform. Your uploaded content is not shared, published, or made available to other users. All processing happens locally on your device.
ClikDeo does not promote, host, distribute, or endorse any copyrighted or infringing content.
ClikDeo is not responsible for any copyrighted or infringing data that users choose to process using our tools.
Users are solely responsible for ensuring they have the necessary rights, licenses, or permissions for any content they process using ClikDeo tools.
If you process copyrighted content without permission, you (the user) are solely liable for any legal consequences.
Your content stays yours. Because your files are processed locally and never sent to us, We do not receive, own or claim any rights in the videos or audio you edit.
Our Website content. The ClikDeo name, logo, design, text, code and tools are owned by or licensed to ClikDeo and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not copy or reuse them without Our written permission, except as needed to use the Service normally.

No User Accounts

ClikDeo does not require users to create accounts or log in. Therefore:

We do not have any user accounts to terminate or suspend.
We do not store your video or audio files, and We do not keep any personal user profile about you.
We do not link your visits to a personal account, and each session is independent.
If a user misuses our tools (e.g., processing copyrighted content without permission), ClikDeo is not responsible. The user bears full legal responsibility for their actions.

Specific Disclaimer for Video/Audio Processing Accuracy: Our tools use browser-based APIs (MediaRecorder, Canvas, Web Audio) which may produce varying results depending on your device, browser, operating system, and input file format. We do not guarantee that processed videos will maintain original quality, frame rate, resolution, or audio sync. Output files may vary in size and format. You are responsible for verifying that processed files meet your requirements.

Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of certain types of warranties or limitations on applicable statutory rights of a consumer, so some or all of the above exclusions and limitations may not apply to You. But in such a case the exclusions and limitations set forth in this section shall be applied to the greatest extent enforceable under applicable law.

Governing Law
