Local Processing of Video & Audio Files

ClikDeo provides browser-based video and audio editing tools including a Video Trimmer, Video Splitter, Video Merger, Shorts Creator, Multi-Reel Builder, Interval Countdown Editor, Audio Extractor, and Frame Extractor. All of these tools operate entirely within your web browser. We take your privacy seriously, and here is exactly how your files are handled:

• No Server Upload: Your video and audio files are never uploaded to our servers. All processing happens locally on your own device using your browser's built-in capabilities including HTML5, the MediaRecorder API, the Canvas API, and the Web Audio API.
• Local Processing Only: When you select a file for editing, it is loaded directly into your browser's memory. Our JavaScript code processes the file on your computer, not on our infrastructure.
• No File Storage: We do not store, save, or retain any copies of your video or audio files on our servers. The only place your file exists during a session is within your own browser's temporary memory on your device.
• No Access to Your Content: Since all processing happens locally on your device, we never have access to view, analyze, or share your video or audio content.
• Automatic Cleanup: When you close your browser tab, navigate away from our page, or refresh the page, any temporary data stored in your browser's memory is automatically cleared. No residual files remain on our systems.
• Downloads Remain on Your Device: When you download your edited video or audio file, it is saved directly to your device. We do not retain any copy of your processed file.

Technical Explanation: Our tools use standard browser APIs including MediaRecorder, Canvas.captureStream(), and the Web Audio API. These technologies process your media entirely within your browser's sandboxed environment. Your files never leave your computer unless you choose to upload them somewhere else after downloading.
